FSC Logo

The FSC logo is your guarantee that the wood and paper products you purchase come from healthy forests and strong communities.

The FSC ‘check-tree’ logo, the ‘FSC’ initials and the name ‘Forest Stewardship Council’ are registered trademarks and may only be used by FSC-certified companies as per the relevant standard. Non-certified companies may only use the FSC trademarks in limited circumstances and if they have received prior written permission from FSC to do so.

FSC Label vs. FSC logo

The FSC Label can be found on products that have been independently verified to meet FSC’s strict environmental and social standards.

The FSC Label includes information as to:

• The type of fibre in the product (e.g. FSC-certified forest, Recycled materials, and/or Controlled Wood),
• A description of the source of fibre in the product (e.g. from well managed forests, from responsible sources, from recycled materials); and
• The identity of the certified company producing the product (e.g. Trademark License Code FSC-C######).

Only FSC-certified companies may place an FSC Label on a product.

The FSC logo and trademarks can be used by FSC-certified companies to promote the fact that they are certified, or to promote (e.g. through advertisements, or websites etc.) FSC-certified products that they manufacture. Under limited circumstances non-certified companies may use the FSC logo for promotional purposes only, if they receive prior permission to do so.
