The FSC Xpert program is an educational program and designation for individuals that are committed to responsible forest management, and who have the knowledge and skills to successfully source and manage projects that use Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified paper.

• The FSC Xpert program and designation applies to individuals only. A company cannot register to become an FSC Xpert , or advertise itself as an FSC Xpert.
• FSC Xperts are not allowed to use the FSC logo to identify a product as FSC-certified. Only FSC Chain of Custody certified companies have the authority to use the FSC logo as an on-product label.
• FSC Xpert candidates must undergo training, pass an exam and sign a legally binding Acknowledgement Form prior to becoming designated an FSC Xpert. 
• Each FSC Xpert is provided with a unique Identification Number as indicated below. E.g. CAN-####
• All cases of misuse of the ‘FSC Xpert Symbol’ or the ‘FSC Trademark’ will be formally addressed by FSC Canada.
